PfR is short for “Preparation for Reuse<\/a>\u201d. PfR will be one of the key concepts of the future. The acronym covers the next level of reuse. Namely, we take more discarded products out of the waste stream, repair them and put them back onto the market, saving the planet’s scarce resources and reducing our CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n Along with other actors, Elretur will establish two new so-called first treatment facilities in Eastern and Western Denmark in 2022. The facilities will optimise the way we identify and sort discarded electrical items that are suitable for reuse after repair, or where the components can be reused in new products.
